Dr Norah Burns

School of Law

My research focuses on the areas of legal education, human rights education and women and the law. In addition to legal qualifications, I hold a Masters in Third Level Teaching, Learning and Scholarship and am very interested in innovative teaching methods, assessment methods, student experience, skills development and the transition to University. I am also interested in human rights education; how human rights are taught in universities and in non-formal/ non traditional settings; women in law; and women on boards.
