Dr Clare McKeaveney

School of Nursing and Midwifery

Dr. McKeaveney is a Chartered Psychologist with a special interest in the psychological and clinical aspects of kidney disease and transplantation. Her research focuses on improving the psychosocial experiences of dialysis patients, enhancing patient education, and addressing their unmet needs. She is dedicated to understanding how emotional, mental health and social factors affect the well-being of individuals living with kidney disease, to develop strategies that enhance quality of life, treatment experiences, and attitudes towards kidney transplantation.
