Professor Michalis Matthaiou

School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science

Professor Matthaiou’s research interests span signal processing for wireless communications, beyond massive MIMO, reflecting intelligent surfaces, mm-wave/THz systems and AI-empowered communications. He has published in excess of 320 papers on these topics, including some 140 IEEE journal papers. He is currently leading a vibrant, international team of 20 people underpinned by multi-million, competitive funding.
