My original research background is empirical software engineering. Since my Ph.D. programme, my research trajectory and interests have been following the evolution path of cloud-native software engineering (that extends traditional software engineering to covering the DevOps, container, and microservice technologies), towards the emerging computing paradigms from mobile cloud computing to edge computing and Internet of Things (IoT). The recent AI projects I am involved in further drive my research interests and focus into intelligent software engineering (including SE4AI and AI4SE).
